Kyrie's entire family is....quite numerous.
Father Kan: Only human in a family of half-elves, Kan was always a reclusive man, meek and quiet. He showed nothing but patient when faced with Kyrie's childhood accidents, doing all he could to help her deal with her problem and the evil spirit haunting her...yet often his methods did nothing but worsen the situation, putting too much pressure on the girl due to his rigid following of the Ancient Laws of the Dawn Isle.
Mother Eirene: An elf costantly occupied with hiding her daughter's problems, as to not reveal to entire village her haunting. Between Kyrie and the younger pest Yun, hers is a full time-job, and oft an impossible one.
Zhenas: diligent, logical, calm and hard-working, the firstborn of the family never caused any troubles. While him and Kyrie rarely fully understood eachother he has always supported his sister and her claim about the benevolence of her spirit, and encouraged her to seek her own Way - even teaching her the basics of archery.
He's often the one to calm down Mai when Kyrie's accidents send her on a tantrum, or comfort Kyrie when their parents' attempts of guiding her end up backfiring.
Mai: as far as Kyrie is concerned, Mai is the perfect woman - the living embodiment of everything she ever dreamed of being, and everything she'll never be. Elegant, beautiful, and absolutely sure of her place in the world as a blossoming seamstress. While the sister's relationship used to be a normal one, Kyrie's magical accidents have frayed it in a myriad of screams, arguments and tantrums. Kyrie now fully believes her sister hates her, and accordingly tries her best to stay clear of Mai as often as possible.
Kyrie: She's 16 at the time of her departure - which translates to a somewhat younger external age, due to her being an half-elf. She's a sorcerer with a strange connection with an entity that she call "Hai".
Yun: the black (haired) sheep of the family, and the only one which with Kyrie can truly be herself without fear of judgment or error. Lively, chatty and trouble-making, Yun absolutely adores Kyrie, Hai and their "pranks". No one else she knows can change colours to clothes or levitate petals against the wind - only her sister! Where others see dreadful omens Yun finds fun and interesting games.
She's firmly against her sister's departure, and her final goal to free Hai from their bond. While Kyrie is away, Yun has taken to imitating her clothes, imagining her adventures across the world.
